About us

Alteneva Kft. was founded in 2018 with the aim of managing and implementing sustainability-related projects. Our first and one of our largest projects was the comprehensive development of a solar panel factory with an annual capacity of ~10 MW as part of a brownfield investment: from property development and the selection of manufacturing technology to the launch and operation of production.

In 2020, we launched our own research and development program aimed at developing industrial energy storage systems based on recycled electric vehicle batteries. During the program, we built several pilot and commercial energy storage systems, for which we developed all software controls, including BMS and EMS, in-house.

By 2023, based on our accumulated professional knowledge, our experience in controlling and operating energy storage systems, and market feedback, it became clear to us that the greatest added value would come from creating a comprehensive energy management hardware and software platform. We are developing a solution that is not only suitable for controlling our own energy storage systems, but can also be used in a manufacturer-independent manner for the complete control, integrated operation, and monitoring of other energy storage and solar panel systems.

Our team members have decades of combined experience in industrial control technology, measurement data collection, and IoT system operation. Our team is characterized by innovative and results-oriented thinking and a commitment to continuous improvement—we enjoy complex technical challenges and tackle every new development with great enthusiasm.

Currently, our company's main focus is on further developing our own energy management system. Our goal is to offer comprehensive, professional, and flexible solutions in the field of EMS to manufacturers, system integrators, installers, and our energy aggregator partners.
